Videos of the collision between the Sea Shepherd vessel Ady Gil (formerly Earthrace) and Japanese vessel Shonan Maru No. 2. The video from the Japanese vessel is from the Institute of Cetacean Research, and was released here: www.icrwhale.org The other angle, from the Sea Shepherd vessel Bob Barker was sourced from YouTube here: www.youtube.com

While I’am completely against whaling on a commercial scale, knowing how insane Paul Watson is, I wouldnt be surprised if he actually ordered the crew of the Ady Gil to stay put, thus allowing the Japanese to ram them in order to yet again give them bad press coverage
merely an opinion.
@JCheaverLoophole .I don`t think sea clown knows much about sailing either.Basically its a ploy they do.This one went wrong.If you look at the ady gil thier is a wake behind it so it was heading in the direction of the whaling boat.Basically they are very incompetent.They try to say some bs that it was out of fuel or something.Again extreme bs.IF they were out of fuel the why would they harrass the whalers and its supose to be a long range boat or something.Just more lies from sea clown
no, it’s way too easy to look through the lies of the scam that is the JARPA program. Even the Int. Whaling Commission has condemned its BS and almost every single country out there… ouch.
And the fact that the whalers still consider whales… as fish… is absolutely hilarious and proves a superb amount of intelligence.
Okay, can someone tell this land lubber how a high tech (trimaran?) capable of doing well over 40 knots, gets run down by a clunky research vessel which can’t go more than 12 knots?
And, why is Sea Shepherd harrassing a ship that is not actively involved in whaling?
anyone know what vista, mp4 video editing program i can get for split screen?
since SM2 does not leave a wake on the starboard, it was not turning starboard, contrary to the SSCS claim. BB is moving, which gives the impression that SM is turning starboard. AG was clearly moving forward, so it is actually AG that rammed SM2.
@101whalesushi
He admitted to it on You Tube.
@Logicbeatslies .I think your looking abit to deep into it.Alot of the people who disagree with sea clown are just people like me and you.Not paid by anyone just puting across their opinion.The person who admitted to being paid.Did he admit to it on youtube?
@101whalesushi. If we could catch the agencies that submit anti-Australian propaganda, and connect them to the fisheries department NOW that would be cool.
They uploaded 10,000 videos titled “racist Australia…” within a week. I’ll never forget about that. One of the paid trolls admitted he was being paid one time.
They must be a bit concerned, as they stopped the SyvieKloot channel.
@Logicbeatslies .The whalers would be chargered with several cases of attempted murder,several cases of false allegations,several of criminal damage to property.The list goes on.
Sea Shepherd did deliver an attempted murder complaint to NZ Police. No idea how that’s progressed though.
@101whalesushi
Japans whalers would be charged with attempted murder, if there were viable courts.
Go the whalers.The incompetence of sea clown will come out when the investigation is complete.I do like it how Paul Watson is tring to go to as many countries as he can to complain.Seems like a case of he is not gettng the answers he wants.He can creat propoganda but its easy to look through his lies
It clearly shows the **** in the wrong.
@sycophant01 bullshit they called it research that involved killing whales gimme a break
@takaoyoshito dude i love a lot of japanese culture but seriously **** your apologies stop killing the ******* whales theres not that many left
way to go sea shepherd but where are your ak47′s shoot those fuckers they cracked your sweet boat. whale killing dolphin killing ********.
Sea Sheperd Go over the lines. It is goods that no one killed. If Sea Shepherd didn’t happy about those Japanese action for killing Whales than take them to international courts. Don’t **** around, go get a good job. Thanks.
They SM2 had to change course to collide with them. Like saying that someone hit by a car that veers onto the footpath shouldn’t have been next to the road.
Yeah, You are right, Small guys should be always allowed to break the law, big guys not. Also, Always assume that small guy is innocent and big guy is not. Thats the way things work, right?? Lets close our eyes for the fact that mice should not play stupid in front of the cat…
By the way I have a Fox in my garden that is doing some “research” in my Hens.
Funny,The Japanese whalers defy the patience of the world infringing the law of banned whale fishing.then invent a very silly story about “Research” of whales AKA “killing Whales”
Then the Japanese come in Australian waters or any other country to do their research.
And the only people that have the nerve to respond to this shamefull acts are called terrorists…
Very funny world we live in.
With the japanese mentality running the world there will be not a planet earth in a few years.
This incident has caused us shame as a family and our home land. The terrorist Sea Shepherd are weak and only hurt our money. We tried to say they rammed whaling ship. Now all videos are out and everyone can see that we tried to kill them while they were not even attacking. Japan must let these whalers face this shame alone. To bother one does not equal right to kill. I am sorry for this act as is my family.
Mjotvior, your comments are interesting, but make a lot less sense when you remove a bunch of them.
It is arguable that Sea Shepherd engage in activities that could be broadly defined as ‘piracy’ (I think terrorism is a little excessive and buzzwordy).
But I am far from convinced that the crew of Shonan Maru could believe that the posed posed a serious risk, certainly not one that would be reasonably countered with deadly force. LRAD and water cannons, sure, but ramming, not so much.
The vessel involved wasn’t the Nishan Maru, it was not engaged in whaling operations, so none of those provisions would apply.
