Today I was in an at fault accident. While backing up in a parking lot I hit a guys black Nissan Accent. The damage consists of dented light core panel and rear bumper, along with needing a minimal paint job) He got me one estimate of $778, and I asked for a second.
I got his name, and phone number. Is there any other information I need to get?
(He has my name, address, phone number, vehicle make, lisence plate number, lisence number, insurance company and policy number.)
He told me he does not want it to go through insurance, so now what happens?
(I don’t have the $ to repair the car, and have no intention to get my own vehicle repaired (due to $ issues).)
(I can’t go to my parents, and don’t have anyone here I can ask for advice. I don’t know what to do, or what the steps are in a case like this)
Please explain where I go from here.
Will shops let me do a payment plan for the damage to his vehicle?

Why do not you want to go into insurance? This will not affect coverage or rates – unless you’re hiding something? Or maybe you think that saving the store ennuis.Une probably not allow them out of the car repair shop until the invoice is paid in full. I would not allow it, no longer. You should have received any information from what you got – well – you must report the accident as soon as possible. Do not give all the cash rate. It might take your money and still make a claim on insurance for accidents and injuries, etc etcSi the only way to fixing your car insurance is to ask, so what you do. Tell him so.
