very nice video!!!thanks….hoping to learn this year 2010.working 1 hour every night…what do i need to concentrate the most on?i have been in the auto business 9 years doing bumpers and windshield repair, nobody in my area will train so i’m going to learn on my on….ready for some better money!!!!
Your such an idiot….you have no idea what your talking about
@Lateran1215 You are right, I won’t argue about you talking about metal being weaker or not. The metal will dent again whether it was hit prior or not. Simple. I call it bad luck if someone gets hit in the same spot. Customers can wash their car, wax it, lean on their car or what ever after a correct pdr is achieved. But it is no weaker that it was before it got hit. So enough about your accusations please.

I understand that you are trying to protect your business and I have to say one more time that I prefer paintless dent repair rather than any other method, but I guarantee you that the metal is weaker after work is done. Please dont argue on that. Either educate yourself, or ask someone who knows better than you.

My friend, my accusations are not false, I dont know what or where your company is but I have seen what I wrote. I am not going to argue on their business nor their reputation. You may be in PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR business, but dont talk about metal properties. It is my profession and to mention your level of knowledge is to say what I can create you can be only repairing it.
Your accusations are false. First of all, no busy or reputable company is going to create work and jeopardize their company name or reputation. Second, when the metal is restored back to factory, the metal is no weaker than it was when it first got damaged. I can tell you are not in the profession or you would know better than to make such false claims. Please do your homework before you post a comment.

Also, I have recognized some of those ****-sucking bustards who have small paintless dent removal companies in the city. They have been ******** on the mall parking garages with the pick-up tracks. They would park to any free spot and when no one is watching they forcefully open their pick-up trucks door against your vehicle. Keep watch on your car wherever you are.

Yes looks good I agree, much better than cutting and painting metal, however keep in mind that the car will be very vulnerable on the places where the dent was straighten. It is the property of metals (it has its flexibility but remember it is not plastic) and the next dent on the same place will occur much easier and with less pressure applied.
very impressive, may have to look into a course in the new year!
So how long does it take someone to learn PDR? Are there schools for this sort of thing? I’m sure the video makes it look easier than it really is. That’s a really smart idea to use lines reflected in the metal surface rather than just trying to directly look at the metal surface itself. Without reflections you’d never see the fine details of the abnormalities.
Love the line board idea….
Beautiful job Myke. Thanks!
I do have some advice. Move your board outward from the dent and look for more detail. Switch sides and cross check your work. Stay eye level across your dent when you are looking at your reflection and take your time. Don’t push if you are not sure. Learn tool applications, your reflection and be patient.
Hi, you did a good job, i’m doing this for over 1 year and i didin’t get a good job yet, but i almost get there, so have you some advice for me? I m from Brazil- Rio de Janeiro. Thanks.
good job man thanx
Nice video, I’ve watched it twice now ! Really well put together.
cant remember if i asked you this but do you guys have a shop in chicago?
i think you are absolutley brilliant…
if you drive a $180K ride 200 bucks is a gift
nice job man…….keep on rockin!!!
wats that board called? and the pen too?.. where can i get some of those?
Technically it took me 17 years. But to answer your question, yes it took a short time to remove. But again, it’s because speed comes with experience. This repair cost was $200 on a $180K ride.
What was the cost of this removal it took about 5 min.
cool Explanation DentTime, and of course nice video. I really like it!
