No. This is false. The rear O2 sensor has nothing to do with air/fuel mixture. The rear sensor is only to determine the efficiency of the cat. If it shows the cat isn’t working well you’ll get an “inefficient cat converter” code. Only the front O2 sensor affects Air/Fuel mixture.
it it has 2 o2 sensor, one at the front and one at the back of the catalytic converter then you can’t if theres only one that is located in front of the cat converter then you can…
yea, that guy smokes a lot of bud.
i roto rooted mine washed the ******, lets see how it does. it was clogged nissan sentra 2000
I have a 94 renault 94, the cat is screwed, could I take it off?
One thing I would like to point out: The Jeep that is in your video (Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ) has three cat. cons, as do so many other vehicles made today. The two front cats have o2 sensors before and after, but the third cat is not monitored in any way. That means you can remove the 3rd cat without any of the problems you are talking about.
and only 1 o2 sensor:D
No it will not damage your vehicle. If your o2′s are good, then your car will be fine. See Ivanruiz89 obviously did it and his car is fine.
There is no such thing as a “freeflow” cat. No company by law can sell a converter that does not meet OEM standards.
this motherfucker says “cadillac” converter?
thanks for that, im wanting to put extractors in my car.. so i guess im going to need a “high flow” cadalytic converter
cuz they were OBD1, the ecu didnt care what you threw at it
i have a 95 camaro with no cat and its fine. it doesnt have the o2 sensor after the cat
To solve this problem on bikes you use a power commander to effectively re-set the air fuel ratio.
What is the equivalent car “trick”
