indians are just dumb, they should not let indians handle anything that involve human lives, be it air traffic controller or pilots, they cant even drive train successfully, theres always train crash in india. besides, they can hardly speak english, for those who can, we can hardly understand them as they speak with their curry accent. seriously to all indians out there, just stay home and make curry for your family you are just trouble makers
It’s no wonder that this collision occurred. Obviously, the technology the air control tower had in New Delhi airport at the time was downright primitive. This incident was a wake up call for New Delhi airport to update their surveillance radars in the control tower. I’m not saying that this was the fault of the control tower, but if they had more advanced technology and radars to read the altitudes of the planes, this crash would have been more easily avoided.
holy **** the first 50 seconds were intense
This was in my opinion the worst Air Crash Investigation episiode. The crash sequence was so incorrect. The 747 after it was hit totally vaporized in mid air. It dosent plunge from the sky as a whole!!!
and you dont even get to see the other plane crash! This episode mostly focuses on the Saudi Arabian flight!!!!!!
When I see a 3rd world country (even one with such well educated people like India) I cringe. Writing such important data on “little slips of paper”?? Those aircraft cost many millions of dollars, and the passengers are priceless, irreplacable Human Beings! How much does that poor kid get paid to do such an overwhelming job that would stress the limits of a Veteran Air Traffic Controller? The whole situation leading up to this horrible fiasco was just an accident waiting to happen. . .
Even in a “rich” country like the USA the air traffic controllers are hindered by lack of modern equipment, maintenance and support. Workers are grossly over-stressed by the volume of aircraft they must manage. I can only imagine how much worse the conditions are in a poorer country. -continued next-
