Dent Removal with Pops a Dent

DIY with Pops a Dent

There are several dent removing tools on the market, but you have opted for Pops a dent because it seems simple to use. Also, unlike other commercial dent removing products, Pops a dent does not require you to drill a hole on your car, which you will have to later fill in and paint over. With Pops a dent, all you need is the kit.

The Pops a dent kit includes the unique dent puller (patent pending), two Pops a dent removal stems in different sizes, a Knockdown tool, and a glue gun and a super-size glue stick. The Pops a dent kit also comes with an instruction manual detailing how the Pops a dent tool should be used.

Designed and developed by professionals, Pops a dent has a uniquely-arched bridge meant to prevent further damage to the car. This makes Pops a dent superior to similar products whose dent puller tends to add even more dents to your car. Aside from being more effective, Pops a dent is also less messy because its adhesive system does not leave any glue residue on your car.

Here’s how to use your Pops a dent tool effectively:

  1. Begin by assessing the dent on your car. Pops a dent comes with two differently-sized dent removal stems so choose one that is appropriate for the specific dent you will be working on.
  2. Pops a dent does not work too well on creases so you will have to do some extra prep work if your car is creased or wrinkled. Prep the surface of the car before using Pops a dent by trying to remove or reduce the creases. Do this by gently tapping the raised ridges.
  3. Next, get the rag and solution included in the Pops a dent kit and gently rub the cloth around the area of the dent until the wax is gone. This will provided better traction for the Pops a dent arched dent puller.
  4. Once the surface is ready, put a stick of glue in the glue gun provided in the Pops a dent kit and turn it on by plugging it in an electrical socket.
  5. The Pops a dent tool works best in 65-85 degrees F so if you are working in colder locations, use a hair dryer to heat the surface of the car for 2-3 minutes before applying the glue on the dent.
  6. You can now apply the glue to the surface of the tab or the rag and stick it on the dented surface. Be careful not to use too much glue when you use the Pops a dent tool. Use enough glue to completely cover the Pops a dent pad. There should not be extra glue squishing on the side when your press the Pops a dent pad on the surface of the car.
  7. For Pops a dent to work best, wait for five minutes to allow the glue to set. Do not wait for more than eight minutes or the glue will bond too much to the surface, which will make it difficult to remove.
  8. Use the Pops a dent arched dent puller to pop the dent.
  9. Check the dent area to see if the Pops a dent arched dent puller have caused any new raised areas. Tap these down gently.
  10. If there is any leftover glue, you can also use the Pops a dent solution to remove it.
  11. Repeat the process for any other dents or on the same area if the dent has not been completely removed by Pops a dent on the first attempt.
