I like this book very well. It is easy to read and use for troubleshooting and replacement parts for your vehicle. There are some things missing. Some questions are simply not there in the book and I have to look further. I realized this when I bought the book. (What do you expect from a small book so cheap?) If you are looking for a complete vehicle repair manual for your car. You’ll have to buy a Helms or similar to the price of four of this book. Still, I would recommend this book as a companion.

This book is ideal for general knowledge, but if like me, know my car in front and behind. This book does not have much detail and I found several errors on it. For once, I recommend the 1984-1995 Accord / Perlude Chilton repair manual. May seem to cover a large area (12 years of Accords and Preludes), but going into details of each model and year.

I bought the Honda Accord Haynes Repair Manual 90-93 and I consider it a waste of ($$$) is written with little attention to detail and was very confused. For someone who already knows the pros and maybe that’s fine, but for me it’s a waste of time. I would not recommend to anyone. I have not read the other brands so I can not compare.

I think manuals Hayes to be a little better than textbooks because of its additional details such as Chilton and advice. They can also be $ 5 cheaper for some models. This version is great because it lists only 3 model years, leaving some of the clutter of up to 8 different model years included. You can still do much more to achieve real book service works, written only for your car, and see much more detail. Most do-it-yourself home mechanics will be OK with a manual from Hayes, however.
