I have a very tiny dent on the side of my guitar (my guitar is a Americain Fender Stratocaster made in 2007). How can i repair this dent, is there something I can buy that will just fill up the dent?
By the way the dent doesn’t reach the wood at all it’s like .5 mm deep but I’m going to have this guitar for a while so how can i fix it?

He will get many more in their lifetime so do not worry. Anything you do to address that depreciates the value of the guitar (bumps affect the value)
Hello! One way is to first find the painting as closely as possible the same color as the repair area. Try to get a lacquer-based paint, unlike enamel paints tend to be easier to work, and meet a wide range of substrates. Position of the guitar so that the affected area is horizontal with the ground. You may have to support it with a blanket, pillow, etc to hold it in position. Clean the nickname and a half inch around the area with alcohol, not be swayed just a cotton swab or soft cloth fast. Get a drop of paint on the tip of an applicator tip of the tail or its equivalent, and place the painting in the depression on the guitar. Let dry for two days minimum. The painting will be reduced to that if the depression is severe, a second application may be necessary. Did I say to allow at least two days drying time enough?!? The use of pumice or 1000 + grit sandpaper, lightly smooth the surface to be tightened down in the vicinity. Finish the repair with a suitable polishing compound to restore the shine to the new surface. I have used this technique in many different painted surfaces, and as long as the shallow or too wide, the end result is generally very good. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dana
