Is there a way to do this or do I deposit the check into my account and then get an examination of the bank. Is there such a thing as the simple transfer of control from one person to another? I think it would be much easier for me this box that I have from the insurance company and have the ability to transfer the collision center, without taking an extra trip to go to the bank.

You just write on the back of the check please pay to whomever as your endorsement.
I think you can endorse (sign) the check, and give it to the insurance company. Give them a call and ask if that is acceptable.
If you owe your bank money and you are fearing they will grab part of that money, there is not much you can do. There is no way to transfer this check to somone else, unless, the collison center will let you sign it over to them, their bank though may deny the funds due to the third party.
Deposit the check in your acct and then write the collision center a check from your acct
if the check is written out to you and the Insurance company you may be able to endorse than give it to the Ins. company, if not and only made out to you, it must be deposited into your bank act, you should call your bank and ask, cause some Banks may not cash the check if it requires your signature and the insurance sig on the check…
Just write on the top back “Pay to the order of…” and the name of the shop. That makes it negotiable only by them; if you just endorse it, it can be cashed by anyone who gets a hand on it.
