Hi,
I just got into my very first car accident today. I’m 18 and I’ve had my license for about 3 months. The accident wasn’t terrible just a fender bender. As of right now, I really don’t know who’s at fault, but I just wanted to know if anybody had any suggestions on how to deal with this accident? Its kinda freaked me out a little. I keep feeling that I am a terrible driver but I’m really not.
Also, does anybody know how to deal with reporting an auto collision?
The other driver and I exchanged our information including ins., addresses, etc. He kept trying to make me admit fault but I refused to do that. He also mentioned to me that I could just pay him without going to the insurance company. I told him no, and I that I was going to the insurance company. We are meeting up tomorrow to report the collision to a collision centre. I’ve asked around, and by the looks of it, people are saying that its my fault because he had the right of way. Do you think this will affect me any more in the future? If so, please give me some suggestions to get past this.
Also, does anybody know how much my ins premiums may go up? keep in mind this is my dad’s car and his insurance covers the car and those who drive it.

contact a lawyer and explain everything to you.
First things first, have you had the police at the scene. If it’s your fault or not should be notified as to do a report and must give the name of the insurance company of other drivers and the name and address. Somehow, he is a witness after the fact. It’s for you and protection. I saw that someone said the other driver’s name of insurance company, but do not have insurance there, do not go by what you said a driver, black and white check and a copy of all necessary information.
He is right. Everyone makes mistakes. your license means you can drive. This does not mean you’re a good driver. it takes a little more, I think. Nor am I in my first accident too long after I got my driver’s license. As if that was hanging. nobody was injured. which is most important in my opinion. but it is a horrible feeling. If I remember the summer a short period of time epilogues in which they do not want to handle. then for some time after the unit with another person in the car. so take your time and not force. It will not help your driving if you’re nervous about it all the time. If you’re really worried about not being a good conductor. Maybe you can find someone with great experiance to travel with you while you are driving in certain situations and criticism and gives advice. You can also take a defensive driving course. that are recycled and teach you something new. It can also allow your license remove items that have accumulated and reduce your insurance premium. in particular, do not beat yourself. try to see it as a learning experiance. evaluate what happened in the accident and what could have done differently. and if you paid attention to everything else we said please pay attention to what I always always always. I do not care if you are handling three meters. Always wear your seat belt.
The police had to be there. Contact them, and their type of insurance immediately. Breathe deeply, accidents occur most drivers at some time. Check out what happened and try to learn. This is not the end of the world, and individual insurance can give you information. Take one step at a time, manage each step. It will work. increases in premiums do not remain forever if they have more accidents and tickets. With time off.
The first thing you should have done was call the police and get a police report. In this way, it would be, in writing, which was really faute.La second thing you should have done was call your insurance agent and tell them immediately that you were involved in an accident. The would have told you to take pictures with your phone if available. Derive their name from the number of the insurance policy and the name and address of gars.Ensuite others, gives an estimate made in a body shop and whoever was at fault, your insurance offer for the set. You would not even talk to the guy at all after the incident. Insurance would rise if it was decided that it was his fault. I do not know how, because each state is different. But you can take a course of 6 hours to get to 10% on your insurance if you have not already done so.
Call the police and make a rapport.Appelez your insurance company now and détendre.Des accidents occur and wishes always, just remember what could have done to prevent and can be a better time to be conducteur.Prenez a little time and training with her mom or dad and just take a little trip and get something to eat and speak, you’ll be fine.
