ENGLISH: This accident happened on the 29th of April 2007 in monte grappa (italy) two polish pilots had a mid air collision at about 1000 mt altitude, one pilot, after trowing her reserve, landed safely on a field. The situation for the second pilot was a bit more serious. The result of the collision was that one third of the wing was cut off completely, just held in place by the lines. Incredibly, despite the wing being cut and very unstable, the pilot was able to fly and stear the wing to the landing field making a perfect landing concluded by an applause from all pilots presents. A duch pilot was able to video the event and will publish the video in youtube in the next few days.

Check your lines before taking off, a line over can cut through a wing like a wire going though cheese.
I may have gone a little far…..and do not wish any body any harm….in 20 years of free flying I have found out what a structure vs cloth can do for you…have great flights and you are welocome to fly at Mexico…please go to my site 35394691
Afraid I disagree as a paraglider and hanglider pilot.
With all my love and care: The hours you save NOT setting up a Hang Gliders will be the hours you will spend at a HOSPITAL thanks to paragliders………..
@upnupnup
Funny how people are disapproving of your comment… Newbs for sure…
wtf praglider is cut in two?
***** by wylądował nawet jakby mu całe skrzydło oderwało
thx
is called “round reserve-chutte”
also called PDA chutte (pulled-down apice) to differentiate from other types as the “rogallo chutte”
it looked easily steerable and had good pressure – the separated part wasn’t very big – no bigger than a Big Ear so no worries! just fly it down
how is the (“round”) reserve-chute called (0:35)???
I hope the pilot at fault no longer has a lisence. This was clearly just a FUCKUP!!!
Incredibile!!!!
Poland, Poland
!!
He says that some girl flew into him from the back.. ough, OK, he then says that in English
Please, to all visiting pilots!!! Stop getting drunk before flying and study the give way rules, our skyies are free but we cannot afford 4 or 5 accident avery week!!!!
Polacy to świetni piloci i tyle
dobra robota ale troche ryzykowna.
figata pazzesca….:)
Great Advert for Skywalk Chili…. Though if you have a reserve and there is any doubt in your wing bringing you down safely then why not use your reserve? Could of been different headline if at last 20 meters wing failed completely… good for you anyway, Welldone for staying alive.
Woow….ho ho..Kurde
In north east of italy look right
How do this happened?? How the glider get cut off??
It’s because poles are best in everything:)
e meu instrutor de voo me falava que
