Hey thanks for sharing your technique and thoughts on the subject. Nice work.
@crakjack714 I appreciate your positive comment. I don’t want to come across that lines are superior. My belief is it’s about how well a tech can read their own reflection, whether it’s a fog, line board or natural reflection.
its a good video. i personlly use a shadowed light but i get your point. i would work with you anyday anytime anywhere. lol boy there is alot of the bigheaded (hacks) dentguys on here running their mouths isnt there
Impressed by the rational system.

where can i get a line board?
Exactly Sally, you are too egotistic (ignorant) to learn lines… the right way. The more you try to insult me, the more you look like a total *** to the whole industry and your potential customers. Your claims about my repairs not being true are ridiculous. Why don’t you show me your dents with a real line board and lets see who’s foolin who? Besides, you really need to create some interesting videos. I fell asleep twice on two them. zzZZZzz.. Sally, you are boring, so do better videos.
It’s hard to say without seeing you do the work. It all depends how you read your reflection, tools used and combined experience. Also, there are certain characteristics a reflection reveals. Sorry I can not give you more help but it would be like shooting in the dark.
Can you help ? if a car has been resprayed over a dent(ding) can it still be pushed out..i have 3 small dings on this car i just got, i hve finished the dings but it still looks to be wrong..it looks like the paint or the laquer..no matter how much i wrk them i cnt get it 100% thx
Oh…DentExperts always having to get into a pissing match…. Sal, I’m glad you know what ignorance is. That’s exactly why I called you ignorant on the other video. You’re not willing to learn the truth about lines. This video was not put up to argue that point, but you’ve gotta come on here and flex your muscles and beat your chest. Why? To sell more videos? To show how childish you really are? I don’t get it. 1+3=4 and so does 2+2. There are more than one way to fix a dent too.
Ignorance is when one is not willing to learn. Optical physics for dummies: trying to see diagonal anything with a horizontal or vertical anything is stupid. Try reading science once in a while or better yet, take out the most difficult dent of your week and put it on Youtube. Dark colors, lot of reflections, slow panning with a camera. Put your work where your mouth is.
…..I saw a wavy dent or two in your videos too…so step down off your soap box. K? Thanks.
I wish you both lot of happy clients, peace in mind so you stay calm and dents will come out awesome
well we (techs) can use our reflection, and for our customer (doesn’t matter if is retail, body shop or dealership) there is only one goal,
REMOVE DENT SO CAR LOOKS LIKE DENT EVER HAPPENED.
I know that sometimes that is impossible, depends on depth, location and strechness of a metal mostly, but longest we do our best and inform our client before we start how dent will look at the end, I think we will do it well
Hi
how is dentexperts doing? I have privilege to meet and work with Myke Toledo Personally and I can say that he is the best tech I met.
Line board shows actually very much detail. More then what you call natural reflection. IF.. and that is funny part. IT ALL DEPENDS HOW YOU LOOK AT IT. Lines can be adjusted that you see more detail then with “natural reflection”. Now if you remove board and adjust head in different angel, you may see more detail that way.
I know that important is how
hello there,
thank you for this very professional video, I especial like to see what tool is used. Was this tool with any tape or just metal to metal?
Myke you always do great job, with dents as well with explanation. I hope we will see more of those in future. After all our industry (PDR and Automotive over all) needs to be cleaned from heck’s and dishonest people.
On the other hand that is why good techs still have lot of work.
Sal, when you assume, you make an *** out of yourself. This was not a hard ding in the first place. Your telling me nobody can take out a door ding 100% either? I can read you well too Sal. Sounds like you are threatened, insecure or upset because there are a lot more techs out there that can perform the same repairs. I can tell you never networked with other PDR techs because your ignorant and too self centered to realize you woud have been much better than you think you are now. What a shame.
I know that when you finish a dent and the board finally removed, you see **** in the reflection you wish you could fix. I left the board for this reason. Dealers don’t care but a retail customer picks it out quickly. Showing others this flawed technique is what all wannabe techs should know before spending a dime. Show the reflection. SAL out.
Sal, you’re wrong more and more. You attempt to justify your theory but you can’t prove that lines are no worse than your natural reflection. I suggest you stop wasting your time trying to discredit others and yourself. Oh and technically there is no such thing as a natural reflection. It is a reflection or it isn’t. Cross checking is performed no matter what even when you switch an angle. A good tutorial is about WHAT YOU REALLY UNDERSTAND, not what you don’t.
I was waiting for you to pull the board away after that demo. What about horizontals. Run it through some reflection like any customer would look at. I saw the original peel you created. 99% of newbies would destroy that dent learning this way. Just setting them up for used car work. Disappointed.
