The last part of this walkthrough. The federation now has interest in the X. But you mustn’t allow them to get to the X; you now have to blow up SR388 and the BSL by setting the BSL on an collision course. But the SA-X appears and wants to fight. The SA-X is quite difficult to defeat, until it transforms into some monster, which is easier to fight. Then the Ice Core-X which then floats away. After all that, you enter the Operations Room and set the BSL on collision course with SR388 to destroy all of the X. Only 3 minutes before that happens. But the final fight occurs. The Omega Metroid appears and almost kills you (leaving you with only 1 life left). But the SA-X actually saves you by attacking thte Omega Metroid, but the SA-X gets killed. Getting the Ice Beam upgrade, you can now damage (and defeat) the Omega Metroid, hopefully before the timer runs up.
