   @ Stevescar1 has not frozen water from the landfill when it freezes? If you kept the hole closed, you were not afraid it would cause cracks?

   I left my bike and I have a hole in the fuel tank was very angry but I calmed down and I took off the gas receiving tank to fill up with water put it in my freezer and when the water had frozen pop Dent gone and the water ice has pushed the steel enough for the tooth never came back.

    Depends on the year and model Harley. Some are double-walled, some not. Glue strip is an option, but Harley is known that low-colored coat and a little very thick metal.
