in ping pong ball sized dents from the hail stor 2 weeks ago. This car in financed, the bank owns it, not me. Now, im completely covered insurance wise, obviously, but i dont want to get it fixed. For the simple fact that all they are going to do is “paintless dent repair” and i refuse. That cuases future problems to the paint… thats gunna have to come out of MY pocket in the long run. Ive been told my car is a write off by the auto body shop. Is there anyway i can just get a pay-out and pay off the loan and sell it???

So you call your car insurance agent and ask them how to get a cash payment rather than have the body work done. Your not trying to hide anything. You just want to get a cash payment rather than have the car fixed. The insurance company shouldn’t have a problem with that.
you have to fix it or pay it off. when you don’t fix it, any future damage can be refused for previous damage. when we had hail damage we took the check and added some money and payed the car off. hail damage don’t stop the car from running. drove it until we traded it if a couple of years later. that painless dent repairs is bull ****. when Metal is hit like that it is stretched and all the dry ice in the world will not fix that
