I bought a brandnew cannon a630 digital camera from a dealer in Toronto about three weeks ago. It accidentally fell down from about three feet height onto a carpetted floor and now I can not press the shutter button when the zoom turned towards the highest zoom. There is a faint dent near the shutter button. Otherwise it is working normally. What I can do now ? to whome I shoud go dealer or the Cannon inc. ? will they accept the camera and replace with a new one or repair it? What I should tell the dealer?
Please help me this is my first digital camera. I paid CAD 400.00 for it. I am desperate to get it done.

keep the store where purchased, and tell them you think its “failure.” because its new brand, which should give you a new one, but if they refuse to at least be able to return it for repair for you.
