@ Holeinone666 If faced metal oxide which use a blaster to clean the rust in these areas. This is a 69 should always have enough metal. If there is nothing wrong with the other areas, only 400 grains of sand and seal the old paint. I do not want to sand all the metal unless you have a problem with the paint.
hey. My friend has a 1969 442 Oldsmobile has rust damage in places. began to remove stains visible in hand with 150 sandpaper. Should we sand it off with a block by hand. sanding with 80 and then 150 and so on. only to have it ready for priming. and in areas where rust has eaten bad metal good enough we must apply Bondo on it. if so, how are we doing this? Thanks
Butler, Should I apply the same concept to a plastic bumper? a bumper that is? I will ask for a replacement bumper for my Toyota Corolla 06. Thanks for all your help indeed.
