Permatex Rust Treatment is an economical alternative to new wings, tailgates, hoods, and almost all surfaces of rusted metal. With a simple spray on application Permatex stops in contact with a similar reaction bubble “Alka Seltzer” or peroxide on a cut you can see, hear and rust. In addition to the proof in the pudding, so to speak, Permatex is dry (after about 3 layers) for a black surface to paint to the replacement or rework, or a complete vehicle or paint can be painted dot.
