hardcore FTW
speedcore is pretty much faster hardcore i think
splittercore even faster
terrorcore has an eerie feel
idk about the rest but the name of the genre isnt important. I’m looking into breakcore now so idk
@bananarchy
all of those genres have something great and diverse about them. its really at the point where they cant be considered the same at all anymore
Okay then so how bout Grindcore, Deathcore…those are pretty serious genres and i doubt anyone’s going to stop using the terms just cause people have sticks up their *** about the word “Core”
this sound =/= acid
everything with “core” behind it should not be taken as a serious genre (exept hardcore).
seriously, you got nintendocore, crabcore, you can bind core to ANYTHING.
this sound = acid.
It’s often jungle/DnB breakbeats with hardcore techno influences – usually Amen breaks, but other stuff too. Samples can be just about anything. Sometimes artists & labels have political leanings – Eiterherd, Alec Empire, Praxis, Digital Hardcore Recordings. Sometimes it’s just fun – breakcore often takes piss out of pop records – Britney Spears “Toxic” rip-offs, etc.
Blatant plug: check my channel! It’s got a few decent breakcore tunes on it
Dashflux is right.. Breakcore gives me wood is a belgium breakcore soundsystem and recordlabel who has been around for a long time now.. it is confusing what breakcore exactly is and there are a lot of varities in breakcore like as an example; raggacore or yardcore. breakcore is fast and it sounds kinda tricky.. its also more of a feeling i guess.. check out; floorclearer, rotator and doormouse. its all breakcore but in different ways
extremely, i listened to “Breakcore gives me wood” alot of times and some tracks still throw me off sound more like terror or hardcore then breakcore really, its confusing sometimes
true.. i just dont regonize alot of real breakcore in this whole track.. and genres are all fucked up nowadays.. listen to a enzyme x cd and tell me if its terror, hardcore or breakcore?? all genre’s are changing its hard to keep up with them.. but this isnt “real breakcore”.
nice!!
real breakcore huh? well it definitely lived up to its name

raggacore is pretty much a branch of breakcore in my opinion, its breatbeat oriented, includes industrial noise but with Reggae samples.
**** **** UP!
