My front bumper was was damaged in a minor fender bender… I decided to have the whole front end done to fix the damage + stone chips. The repair guy said something about a clearcoat finish so I shouldn’t need to wax the front end of the car for a year…
Is it safe for me to go to a carwash? Should I avoid carwashes altoghether? Or just avoid the ultimate wash? Why should I avoid waxing the front end? Any info would be great.

It is safe to wash the car whenever you want. Usually a new paint job is waxed to protect it and it also makes it look better for the person that painted it. You should not need to wax it by hand. The wax at an automatic car wash would not hurt anything.
you can wash and wax that front end after a month and you will be safe and have no problems.
