Removing Brake Rotor Screws That Won’t Come Out

I think the title covers this one. Honda’s are famous for this so I made this little video to help you should you be in this situation. Wear your safety glasses when you do this or whenever you hit things, getting crap in your eye sucks, trust me. Impact drivers can be found at your local tool supplier. If you don’t have a hammer I don’t know what to tell you. This doesn’t seem to require a long explanation so I’m going to stop typing now. 1. yikes, I do not use the hammer to paint as close to the terminal screw! can damage the threads of the bolts of the wheel with dip cosseJ’appuie pb blaster and hammer at the hat of the rotor to allow the piercing to soak and loosen more easily oxidized than boulonJe aside and just use a terminal of the screw in the clamp bolt for a perfect fit to keep the center in platelets brake / delete-reinstall the clip

  11. @ Jambe1234567 always put them back in unless I break them. You do not have to do but is easier to put the clip again, as they will have to fight against the rotor to do so.

  16. I used the 10 Bosh. Impact Driver 8, and is pretty easy. . It can also be beaten with a pb blaster before hand

  17. I had some screws stuck in my Integra a few years ago. My impact driver stripped the screw head and the little broken, so I took a Dremel and cut a new slot in the screw head. Basically I created a flat head screw. Then I took a little flat head impact and got off. I have not had a stroke at the time, or pneumatic tools. I was not keeping the rotors, so do not worry about the damage. But next time I’ll have to try this method first ballpen is removable. Great video indeed!

  18. @ Samlo6 Need to deliver, no. If you back? I think so. I guess if they spent money and time to put at least I can do is put in place. If they break out when I try to not make the effort to replace them, however.

  19. I was told that once you get the screws out, you do not get them back because they were initially on a temporary basis, the rotors, so do not all fit into the assembly line and are useless. Is this true? What is your opinion?

  20. @ Astro29 Thank you, welcome aboard.

  21. Sub’d only friend. You rock!

  22. Want2no2 @ Do not worry, the wheel will keep the rotor in place when the bolt if it is not necessary to replace the attachment in case of breakage.

  23. If you break the screw heads, you still need to drill or you can remove the rotor at this time?
