I almost did not buy this book based on the other negative comments. I’m glad I went against his advice. The absence of a true index proved to be a major pain in the rear. The book is a reference manual stictly, and reference is quite good. Photos, maps and diagrams are worth the price. There are few troubleshooting tips. I just finished working on my review of the engine, and I would not have done without the book. The key is that the book is a reference, a practical guide. To resolve the injection / electronic ignition, I bought another book Bently: Bosch Injection and Engine Management by Charles Probst. . Maybe it’s because I knew almost nothing about EFI, but I thought the book was the best book I bought Bosch Car. I give it 5 stars and consider it an essential companion to my book Bently Vanagon.

. . . Full factory manual. . . all technical specifications to include wiring diagrams. Provides step by step (sometimes can be confusing if you are a beginner mechanic / handyman) If you own a Vanagon is a must have if you know what I mean.

Bentley has always been less than complete books on do-it-yourselfer and is a great story book cheaper and often completely false, as alleged Vanagon has a sealed refrigeration system. Under the replacement of brake fluid, suggest that taking the vehicle to the dealer! Haynes Unfortunately, the manufacturer of the best manual is not a water-cooled Vanagon manual.

Not worth it. is too technical and not explain things as they should. If there are mechanical forget. Indeed. The TD model is mine, not the cover. For the pasta is worth, and might be more prudent Haver

I have a Vanagon, I have this book. Unfortunately, the book does not always help me to solve. This book is an endless source of frustration for me. It is impossible to find what you need, the images are clear images, but useless. If you are not a qualified shop mechanic with Volkswagen and you try it yourself, pay a mechanic, costly, and it can be, and save yourself the frustration and cost of this book. You could use words to describe this very bad book, but I’ll refrain.
