Notice the aft hose is static. Notice the stream of water doesn’t move and keeps the same trajectory. Notice the aft stream of water doesn’t swivel or change position to hit thAdy Gil.
You are correct this video here doesn’t show the aft hose in a manner that you could tell it was an unmanned static hose at the time of the collision. Hopefully the video I pasted above clears it up.

That was a unmanned static hose. It’s not like a person was up there aimin the hose at them after the collision.

What about the propeller wake/cavatation that can clearly be seen at the Ady Gil’s aft? Especially a few seconds before the collision when the Ady Gil powers up and shoots forward (towards the Japanese ship)?
