My car is about 8 years old and it squeaks at the front end when I drive over a bump. It squeaks more when it’s cold outside. It has been squeaking for about a year and a half now. I have no problems driving the car. Still drives smooth, straight and it doesn’t bounce over bumps. I was told it could be the struts but I’m not 100% sure if that is right. Does anyone know what could be the problem. I was also told that I don’t have to do any repairs.

check the shock absorbers,
check the suspension springs they have a rubber support
check engine mounts could be dry
check sway arm bushes
check steering arm bushes
good luck mate
When was the last time you had the suspension LUBED? there are several joints in the chassis that require grease.
What you are describing is the sound of worn/hardened rubber suspension bushings. Unless you are getting a clunking sound (indicating metal-to-metal contact), this won’t do any harm outright. If you replace them, the sound will go away and the front end will seem solider. You will probably notice a slight improvement in handling as well. This is a job to save until you need other work done.
